The Coach Leatherware Company was founded by Lillian Cahn in a Manhattan loft in 1961 with her husband, Miles, and went on to help produce the “shopping bag” tote and other handbags that have become ubiquitous accessories in the wardrobes of well-heeled American women. The Cahns sold the company in 1985 to the Sara Lee Corporation who expanded the brand. Today, Tapestry Inc. an American multinational luxury fashion company is the parent company of three major brands: Coach New York, Kate Spade New York, and Stuart Weitzman.
This authentic Coach Mia shoulder bag is the small version. A black pebble leather top zip handbag with gold tone hardware. The gold metal tag, grommets and rings are engraved. The zipper pull is a combo of black leather threaded through a gold link chain. The Mia bag can also be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag. The detachable flat leather strap has six punch holes that adjusts for your choice of length. The front of the bag is adorned with a Coach horse & carriage metal logo.
